💡What Is $FRAX?
FRAX is a decentralized stablecoin that is partially backed by collateral, such as USDC, and partially stabilized algorithmically. It is designed to be pegged to 1 US dollar, which makes it useful in decentralized finance as a stable value that is not subject to the volatility of other cryptocurrencies. Stablecoins like FRAX provide a reliable, stable form of value for users to use in decentralized finance.
🌕 How To Buy $FRAX On The Ethereum network
- Get the MetaMask wallet browser extension at http://metamask.io/.
- Buy $ETH at any fiat-token gateway and send $ETH to your Metamask ETH wallet address.
- Head over to the Swap page, click on Connect Wallet in the top right corner. Select Ethereum Mainnet on the drop down menu.
- In the top left corner of the swap window, select Swap
- Select FRAX on the bottom half of the swap window and input the amount you wish to purchase, click on Swap.
- Confirm your swap.
- Add $FRAX tokens to your MetaMask.
- Congratulations! You have just successfully purchased $FRAX tokens.
🤝 How To Sell Your $FRAX To $ETH Or Other Stablecoins
- Head over to the Swap page, click on Connect Wallet on the top right corner. Select Ethereum Mainnet on the drop down menu.
- On the top left corner of the swap window, select Swap.
- Select FRAX on the upper half of the swap window and input the amount you wish to sell to $ETH or other stablecoins and click on Swap.
- Confirm your swap.
- Voila! You have successfully sold your $FRAX to $ETH.
