Step-by-step guide on how to engage with Aptos on Sushi
In this tutorial, we will show you how to bridge tokens, swap and provide liquidity (LP) on Aptos via Sushi.
Before trading or providing liquidity on Aptos, ensure you have funded your wallet. Start by bridging your assets from the Ethereum (or other networks) to the Aptos network using the Aptos Bridge powered by LayerZero.
You have to connect 2 wallets i.e. An EVM wallet and an Aptos wallet to bridge (meaning transfer) assets from Ethereum to Aptos.
Select the token and amount you want to swap from your EVM wallet, and token to receive on your Aptos wallet. Click “Transfer” when you are ready.
Here we are bridging 5 USDC to the Aptos wallet.
Once you have funded your wallet, you can go ahead and start swapping on Sushi.
3. Connect “Wallet”. You will need an Aptos wallet. I am using Petra wallet here.
4. Select Tokens to swap from the drop-down menu. Choose the tokens you want to exchange. For instance, swapping APT to lzUSDC.
5. Enter Swap Amount.
Input the quantity of the token you wish to sell.
6. Review and Confirm
Verify all the details of your swap, particularly the tokens and the amount.
Congratulations, you've successfully conducted a token swap on Aptos.
Note: Both tokens will automatically represent a 50/50 balance, make sure you have enough tokens of each in your wallet.
I hope the above helps! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out on Discord or Twitter. Get started now!
