This week we are celebrating Sushi’s second birthday 🥳 It has been two full years of building, trading and staking. We’ve had our ups and downs, and we are excited to have made it this far.
That’s why we want to celebrate this with you, and reward our community with a unique NFT drop. Rather than going the usual route, we are doing it the Sushi way - enabling any of you to create unique art pieces, which we’ll drop to our most active users!
While brainstorming how to scale the creative process to as many community members as possible, we came across image-generating AIs. Using simple text prompts, they allow anyone to create awesome and unique artworks. Now anyone can be an artist, and create images in the mind of a robot!
It’s time to dream up your Sushi artwork!
Here is how you can participate:
Phase 1 - Sep 1st: Anyone can create art!
Make yourself familiar with the state-of-the-art image-creating AI: Head over to discord.gg/midjourney and create art using their Discord bot, or use beta.dreamstudio.ai/dream - Both of them get you started on a free tier.
Experiment with different prompts and let your mind loose!
If you’re stuck in a mind block, use enstil.ai to get prompt recommendations, and get inspiration from other artists at lexica.art.
Once you finished generating, come over into the Sushi Discord and drop your art into the #art channel.
Competition rules: How should the NFTs look like?
- 🍣 Artwork has to be related to Sushi. The color scheme, the mood, the products, etc.
- ✍️ For each artwork, add the prompt you’ve used to generate it
- 🔞 No NSFW, no copyright infringement, etc.
- 🎨 Be creative :) Submit as many pieces as you want!
Phase 2 - Sep 8th: Vote on your favorite pieces!
After a week (Sep 8th), we will pool the community’s favorites and put them up for voting. Once the community has decided on the best pieces, we’ll tokenize the winners and get them ready for the drop.
We’ll be featuring different tiers of Sushi, kickstarting a series of NFT drops for our most active users of all Sushi products.
Phase 3 - Sep 15th: Claim your NFT and new Discord role!
Once we tokenize the NFTs, you will be able to claim them on our galaxy landing page.
And after claiming, holding the token unlocks a new role in our Discord, enabling new features and opening secret doors ;)
