Sushi is live on ZetaChain

We're excited to announce that Sushi is now live on ZetaChain! Following the mainnet launch of ZetaChain, a Layer 1 blockchain and developer platform that connects L1 and L2 networks, from Ethereum to Bitcoin and beyond, Sushi is among the first major DEXes on Ethereum to deploy on the network. As a start, users can now trade and provide liquidity on ZetaChain via Sushi V2 and V3 AMM, with more interoperable integrations in the pipeline, including native BTC swaps in a single step without wrapping or bridging across 30+ chains.

Primary partner of ZetaChain Mainnet Beta

ZetaChain’s Mainnet Beta, which has just been introduced, is a fully functional network that connects Bitcoin, Ethereum Mainnet, and BNB Chain. Developers can deploy Omnichain Smart Contracts on ZetaChain’s EVM that use the ZRC-20 primitive to connect and orchestrate value and data across all connected chains — without wrapping or locking tokens.

As a Layer 1 blockchain and developer platform, ZetaChain positions itself as “the only blockchain you’ll ever need.” ZetaChain provides a more cost-effective, efficient, and secure method for value transfer across different blockchain networks with its support for Omnichain Smart Contracts.

Sushi x ZetaChain: DeFi with Native Bitcoin

As the first step of the integration, Sushi users can now trade and provide liquidity on ZetaChain via Sushi V2 and V3 AMM. Taking advantage of ZetaChain’s Omnichain Smart Contracts, the first native BTC support is in the works, which will soon allow users on Sushi to swap native BTC. The DEX deployment on ZetaChain will enable trading of BTC on other chains in a native, decentralized, and permissionless manner, making native BTC swap possible in DeFi for the first time.

Soon, with Sushi’s unique SushiXSwap, the cross-chain swap, users can swap native BTC across 30+ networks. With ZetaChain's infrastructure and Sushi’s cross-chain and multi-chain capability, the integration is set to bring DeFi to a new era.
